Predeceased by his beloved wife Anne, his parents Mary and Patrick, brothers John and Henry. James will be sadly missed by his sons Pa, Michael, Seamus and Adrian, daughters Mary and Catrina, their partners, son-in-law Colm, daughter-in-law Kathleen, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reflection

Starting this December the churches liturgical year draws to a close. We now focus upon the birth of Jesus. Over the next four weeks starts the preparation on the season of Advent that we are led by the Church to cultivate within us a sense of longing, hope and joyful expectation for the birth of the saviour of the world. During this sacred time we should be focused on a disciplined routine of prayer, Bible reading, and the faithful reception of the sacraments of the Church. By adopting these practices, we will be prepared for Emmanuel's return.
