John (Johnny) Ryan

Predeceased by his sisters and brothers Elizabeth, Peggy (Sr. Fidelma), Mary, Bridget, Sheila and Kathleen, and brothers Stephen, Timmy, and Ben.

Johnny will be sadly missed by his loving wife Kathleen, daughters, Marian, Katherine and Martina, sons Eoin and Francis, sons-in-law Lloyd and John, daughters-in-law Karin, Barbara and Katherine’s partner Romana, grandchildren Ava,Vivienne, Ciana, Joseph, Edward, Clare, John and Anna and Romana’s daughter Milla, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours and friends.

Reflection

Starting this December the church begins a new liturgical year. We now focus upon the birth of Jesus. Over the next four weeks starts the preparation on the season of Advent that we are led by the Church to cultivate within us a sense of longing, hope and joyful expectation for the birth of the saviour of the world. During this sacred time we should be focused on a disciplined routine of prayer, bible reading and the faithful reception of the sacraments of the Church. By adopting these practices, we will be prepared for Emmanuel's return.
