Heritage Week 2024 takes place 17th – 25th August.  Many of the events that take place during the week are free including The Brigid in Bloom Festival (August 22nd and 23rd). A celebration of St Brigid, and all things Brigidine, will take place at Brigidine Convent, Mountrath, bringing a community together to celebrate not only St Brigid, but the women who have passed through the doors of her Mountrath centre of learning over the past 200 years.
